NEW GENERATION
The watchmaker introduces a quartet of Carrera three-hand versions designed with an aesthetic in tune with the times. Sobriety and versatility are the order of the day, to accompany all styles!
Since 1963, the Carrera watch symbolizes the sporting spirit of TAG Heuer. Now a timeless icon, the brand is reinterpreting its signature model this year in four new versions that are both modern and elegant. What do they have in common? All of the essential time information is displayed in a refined décor. On their black, silver, or blue dial, the hour and minute hands, covered with white SuperLuminova®, point to an hour ring made up essentially of long hour markers also covered with luminescent material. A thin swift second hand completes its revolutions. At 6 o’clock, a window on the dial facilitates the date display. The watch is protected by a 39mm polished and satin-finished steel case with slimmed-down crowns for optimal wearing comfort, and is encircled by a timer positioned on the bezel. Among these innovations, one stands out for its refined details. Rhodiumed hour markers and hands are plated with pink gold
The caliber 5 movement based on a Sellita SW200, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4hz), powers all these elements with precision. This self-winding mechanism provides at least 38 hours of power reserve. The sapphire case backing affords a view of some of its components decorated with côtes de Genève and of the oscillating weight.
To further accentuate its sporty-chic personality, the Carrera Date 39mm is optionally fitted with either a steel bracelet with comfortable H-shaped links or a brown alligator leather strap.
