London, with its avant-garde skyscrapers alongside traditional buildings, never stops adapting to meet the changing challenges of our time. The Ripples watches of the Temptation collection by Speake Marin firmly express an horological extension of the spirit of this iconic district. The design of this watch enjoys a seductive scenography highlighted by perfectly executed details according to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Every element is caressed and enhanced by the light. Then, on its brushed gray dial, thirteen ripples form shimmering waves. Above, the “Big Ben” hour and minute hands turn with precision, indicating a circle of hours made up of narrow markers. Located offset at 1:30 o’clock, the small second hand accentuates the originality of the model. As for its 40.30mm diameter steel case, with its distinctive shape, neither round nor square, it reinforces the aesthetic codes inspired by contemporary art.
All of the time information is carefully regulated by the SMA03-T caliber, designed and assembled in the brand’s Geneva workshops. The self-winding movement delivers 52 hours of power reserve. The sapphire case back enables viewing of some of the 135 components, including the micro-rotor and the bridges decorated with traditional Geneva waves.
