During the Watches & Wonders Geneva 2023, the Parisian fashion house unveiled its first chronograph of the H08 collection. Once again, subtlety sublimates style.
Traveling in Hermès time opens doors to a distinctive universe of flowing sinuosity and guiding lines. Needless to say. Imagination rubs shoulders with rigor. From this contrasting combination, timepieces with a strong aesthetic personality are born. The H08 Chronograph watch is no exception to this rule. In this instance, geometry becomes the vocabulary of form. Taking up the main features of the H08 unveiled in 2021, conceived by creative director Philippe Delhotal, this model features the elegant cushion case, featuring a square with rounded corners measuring 41mm x 41mm. Its black gold dial offers various finishes, defining distinct spaces. Smooth, it accommodates the hour circle with an original font. Textured, it delineates the two counters in a bicompax position. The 30-minute totalizer at 9 o’clock visually balances the design with the small seconds at 3 o’clock. The inconspicuous date does not distract from this airy composition. Echoing the slender second hand decked out in orange, a rubber wristband in the same color adds a dynamic touch to the sporty look.
The overall structure integrates a case machined from carbon fiber composite and graphene powder, enhanced by a satin-finished titanium bezel. Within this sculpture-like case, the H1837 caliber operates. This self-winding movement, made up of 193 components, provides 46 hours of power reserve. The various time measurement functions can be easily carried out by means of a single push-button perfectly inserted in the titanium crown. “Details create perfection”*.
