EXCLUSIVE IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE
This summer, the Nyon manufacture rolls out a 100-piece limited-edition monochrome variation of its tonneau-shaped chronograph, available only online.
It would be putting it mildly to say that gray has become part of our everyday lives. So, why does it delight so much? Well, its many hues go really well with all the colors of our favorite gear in our wardrobe. And, it also adds a dash of elegance to our home interiors and objects. Not to mention a touch of timelessness wherever it’s found. The new limited series showcased by Hublot boasts all these characteristics. The Spirit of Big Bang Essential Grey’s skeletonized dial unveils layered mechanical architecture hovered over by the hour and minute hands. The luminescent paint that coats these hands as well as the indexes invites the wearer to admire their gyrations in this monochrome composition at a glance. In this model, the chronograph, small-seconds and direct-drive counters go for discretion. This ever-so visually-mellow scenography reigns in a 42 mm-diameter satin-brush-finished polished titanium case that ensures perfect harmony. The bezel and the caseback are crafted in the same delicately-hued material. The watch is worn on a black and silver lined rubber strap. It comes complete with a Velcro® attached matching fabric alternative.
This Spirit of Big Bang Essential Grey time data is driven by the HUB4700 caliber assembled using some 278 components. This self-winding movement, flaunting a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations an hour, delivers a power reserve of 50 hours to this incredibly-exclusive piece. In other words, when superbly-nuanced gray goes hand-in-hand with performance!
