AESTHETIC POWER
The trendiest material of the moment provides lightness and increased resistance. It also amplifies the modern design of this timepiece combining cutting-edge mechanics and innovations.
Unveiled in 2020, the RM 65-01 split-second chronograph is a pure concentrate of Richard Mille’s watchmaking expertise and stylistic DNA. Its barrel-shaped casing in Carbon TPT® with its striated pattern contributes to enhancing the watch’s technical personality. Its red gold finish transfigures its allure by adding a touch of elegance and refinement inherent to this material. This year, the titanium modification lends a completely different, sportier identity to the timepiece. This is further highlighted by the bright colors that embellish the time data on the open-worked dial.
The time indications, hours and minutes can be read with ease thanks to the color codes associated with each of the functions. As with the original model, the crown can be used to wind or set the time indicators and to adjust the remarkable vertical date. The hand placed at 4:30 provides information on the selector’s position at all times.
The imposing RMAC4 caliber, composed of 480 individual parts, equipped with impeccable finishing, works at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour to ensure uncompromising precision. The sapphire case back affords a compelling view of this complex mechanism and the variable geometry rotor. Richard Mille’s creativity also comes to life thanks to the red button placed at 8 o’clock. 125 presses on it fully arms the cylinder. The automatic movement then has 60 hours of power reserve.
