THE MOON IN ALL ITS GLORY
The Geneva manufacturer is a master in the art of enhancing watches with artistic craftsmanship. In this case, the gem-setting technique masterfully enchants timepieces from the feminine world.
For women’s wrists craving delicacy and refinement, Vacheron Constantin proposes three exclusive watches. All are crafted in a 37mm-diameter rose gold case, showcasing the moon phases in a gemstone setting. Thus, the Égérie Phase de Lune model features a pleated pattern realized with the tapestry technique in the center of its silvered opaline dial. The earth’s satellite in gold and a cloud of mother-of-pearl creates a poetic display that can be found on all versions. The ensemble is encircled with 36 diamonds. Fifty-eight of these same precious gems are set in the bezel. This reference is worn on a wristband made of links machined from the same precious material used for the case.
A flurry of diamonds also showers the Égérie Phase de Lune Pavé Diamants watch, which comes with two interchangeable blue wristbands in leather or satin. Its white gold dial and case are set with 845 diamonds. A total of 1,377 of them, with a guaranteed minimum of 12.35 carats, illuminate the case and bracelet of the prestigious Égérie Phase de Lune Joaillerie version. The slender hour, minute, and second hands of this trio are powered by the caliber 1088L. This assembled self-winding movement provides 40 hours of power reserve. It is easily set and wound using the offset crown located at 2 o’clock and studded with a moonstone or a diamond. The sapphire caseback affords the opportunity to admire the finishing of the visible components among the 164 giving life to the mechanism.
