Since 1963, the Carrera has embodied a passion for car racing. This now iconic watch continues to evolve, featuring new aesthetic details or technical improvements. The Carrera Chronograph 2024 by TAG Heuer has the same personality as its predecessors and has been enhanced with sporty styling. The silver-colored brushed steel dial has black “azuré” sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock and a tone-on-tone small seconds at 6 o’clock. The hands for measuring short time stand out thanks to crimson red coloring. The contrasting composition is an aesthetic variation of reference 7753 SN (Silver Noir), adorned with the same color combination. This dynamic display is enhanced by a tachymetric scale and crowned with a sapphire crystal dome, known as a glassbox.
The 39 mm-diameter case, which is water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters, protects the Heuer 02 caliber. This bidirectional movement offers a generous power reserve of 80 hours. The back reveals the redesigned openworked oscillating weight in action. The body features round pushers with the same finishing details as the case. Polished and brushed surfaces also decorate the links of the perfectly integrated metal strap. From then to now, the Carrera Chronograph is in keeping with the times thanks to its clean lines, subtle details and increasingly high-performance mechanics.
