FLAGSHIP HERITAGE MOONPHASE Longines

FLAGSHIP HERITAGE MOONPHASE Longines

FOREVER IN TUNE WITH ITS STYLE

The winged-hourglass brand, constantly pursuing its definition of watchmaking elegance, enhances one of its oldest collections with colored variations which are perfectly in step with the times.

Back in the mid 20th century, Flagship watches became a powerful feature of Longines‘ identity, helping establish the brand in a resolutely-classy world. All the references rolled out thereafter to expand the collection stand out through their amazing understated appearance. This result is achieved thanks to well-spaced, low-key staging where time data is wonderfully easy to read. A leather strap clasped by a pin buckle ensures stylish wearing comfort. The three new Flagship Heritage Moonphase pieces are infused with all these characteristics. What’s more, they all boast an integrated green-, beige-, or gray-hued sunburst dial that adds an extra dash of light.

The L899 caliber beats at the heart of a 38.5 mm-diameter steel-crafted case, set off with satin-brushed and polished surfaces. This high-performing device ensures the hour and minute hands, the direct-drive, along with the moon-phase displays and the date nestling in a single space at 6 o’clock, tick over accurately. This selfwinding movement equipped with a single-crystal silicon balance spring, insensitive to the negative effects of magnetic fields, delivers a power reserve of 72 hours to the timepiece. And, just like the previous watches in the range, the screw-down back of the case, suitable for all sizes of wrists, showcases the iconic enamel-adorned, 18-karat gold medallion depicting a flagship, which has featured since the very first piece was created in 1957. Much more than just a symbol, it epitomizes natural leadership.
