The new Octo Roma Striking Papillon Tourbillon positions the regulating organ at the center of a captivating setting in which the actors of fine watchmaking are convened. Combined with a skipping hour display, a butterfly minute patented by the manufacturer takes part in a masterful ballet. A pair of diamond-shaped hands mounted on a rotating disk indicate the timer positioned on a 180° arc. When one of the hands moves vertically across the semicircle, the other moves horizontally. The first version of the timepiece has a refined look, yet it surprises with its original appearance. The pervasive green Super-LumiNova® is in stark contrast to the black of the 44mm diameter titanium case with its softened lines, transforming its personality.
